General Description:

Foam tape is based on EVA or PE foam as a substrate in which one side or both sides coated with solvent type (or hot melt) pressure sensitive adhesive, and then made from paper. Foam tape is usually used for light duty applications, it has a low density and it can come with a special liner made from polycoated Kraft paper. The tape is available in a wide range of colors, and foam-based backing material ensures proper insulation.One of the most popular features of this tape is weather resistant for harsh condition, UV resistant, dust proof, high tack, solvent resistance and moisture proof. Additional benefit from foam based adhesive tape is including prevent glass from sinking or sliding (in this case, tapes that contain urethane foam are the most suitable), preventing leakage, offering an elegant and appealing professional finish and reducing road noise (when used for vehicles).
